An Afternoon 'en Blanc'

Sunday 15 May 2022 - 12pm to 5pm

This year, the Effervescence Long Lunch will return to showcase blanc de blanc champagne for a beautiful afternoon in white.

Guests will arrive to be greeted with a glass of champagne to enjoy in the grounds, before moving to the tables. An indulgent four course lunch, designed by Al'Freschco Catering's Alastair McLeod, TV presenter, chef, and bon viveur will be served in the garden of the historic Hanworth House.

Frock or suit up in your very best white and join us for a bubbly afternoon honouring the world’s most celebrated drink.

The afternoon will include:

• Four course champagne luncheon
• live music from Sweet Boheme
• a performance by Ballet International Gala
• live auction with proceeds going to the Mater Foundation Ovarian Cancer Reserch

Marinated Mooloolaba King prawns, seaweed persillade, Bauple nuts, Davidson plum

Course 2

Slow cooked salmon, cucumber, native lime

Course 3

Roasted chicken, romesco, zucchini salad

Course 4

Olive oil & sauternes cake, roasted pear, cream

*All courses served with matching champagnes or alcohol-free sparkling wine
